About
The Northern Ireland Macintosh User Group exists primarily to provide support to Apple Macintosh users, both locally and further afield. NiMUG was founded in the summer of 1998 by Matt Johnston and Kieran Miller, and now has hundreds of members.
As our membership grows, we have an ever increasing pool of knowledge from which to draw solutions to Mac related problems - ranging from startup issues with an old PowerMac to the finer points of Safari running on a new MacBook with the latest version of Mac OS X. Our members are often Macintosh enthusiasts, working on a regular basis with such applications as iMovie, iTunes, Photoshop… the list grows almost daily.
If you’re having a problem that you cannot seem to solve yourself, or you just want to pose a question to fellow Macintosh enthusiasts, you have a number of options to get in touch with us.
