Ian - I would be very grateful if you'd do the same for Lightroom next month.

After that we'd definitely get an iMovie tutorial together.
Then maybe some Final Cut..

Enjoyable evening with a very interesting briefing on Aperture from ianm. Thanks for that.
High on my list of must-sees, is a similarly informative brief around iMovie. Hope someone can share their knowledge with this newbie!

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom ? Happy to run through this at a future meeting as we ran out of time last night.

"We’re excited to announce that the Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 2.0 beta is available for download to valued customers like you. We hope you take this opportunity to experience the new and improved functionality in the latest version of Photoshop Lightroom, which will be the first Adobe application to provide 64-bit support for OS X 10.5 Intel Macs and Microsoft Vista 64-bit operating systems.

Here’s a sampling of what you’ll experience when you download the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.0 beta:
•	With Localized Corrections, photographers can now enhance targeted and specific areas of an image for unsurpassed flexibility and control. For example, darken only the sky in a landscape photo, or sharpen only the eyes in a portrait.
•	An improved layout in the Library module allows for a more intuitive approach to image organisation.
•	Smart Collections automatically updates collections with images that match desired criteria such as star-rating, keyword or other metadata.
•	Suggested Keywords eases the task of keywording by making recommendations based on keyword associations.
•	Additionally, you get support for a dual monitor configuration; the ability to correct specific parts of an image without affecting other areas; dodge and burn using the same non-destructive approach; and much more.
Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to experience why Adobe Photoshop Lightroom – more than ever – is the essential toolbox for managing, adjusting and presenting large volumes of digital photographs."
