The House of Fraser store is the UK’s biggest, while Urban Outfitters and Apple are among its 98 shops.
Dunno if they meant to, but the truth is now out there!!!

apple is definitely coming to victoria square, just not opening today.
Tec7 in house of fraser sell imacs, macbooks, ipods and ipod speakers if you fancy a nosey - i’m working in menswear just opposite them! It only seems to be a very limited range though  i was hoping to use my discount to get a macbook pro!
Oh and by the way, the bbc got it wrong - HoF belfast is the biggest store they have ever opened, but they have larger ones they bought over from other department store chains!

thinking about it a little, apple is not one to share the limelight with anyone else. Makes sense (common an business) to have their own opening date. So don’t oak away those fold up chairs and laptops just yet. We should all make a organized meet up for the opening.

I applied for 3 posts but have not got any word and so my hopes of getting an interview are lowering if they open in a few weeks

chuwy: no idea but remember that they’re going to be like any retail company and keep the details on the books for 6 months just in case there’s backfill.
I hope everyone who’s applied realises that being in Apple Retail is not a ‘glamourous’ job.
End of the day, someone has to dust the shelves and clean the iMacs after the kids have gotten to them

I applied to see what the level of pay was like, but have heard nowt!
As Matt says, I can’t imagine my enthusiasm for Macs helping me through the 14th “You drove over your ipod so it isn’t covered by warranty” conversation in the day.
