Slow sending email

Hi,

Currently having an issue with my Mail, in short the sending of email is incredible slow, to a point that anything over 1mb will plod along for near 5mins then tell me to try again later. Receiving email is no problem.

I’ve done speed tests, …. downloading near 6MB, unfortunately uploading 0.03MB.

I contacted our supplier to see if it was an issue at their end, an engineer came out and tested the line, saying that there was no problem with the supply, he even connected his laptop through our modem and things seemed fine for him, he concluded that there was a hardware problem, which was beyond his remit.

Is there anyway of changing settings or cables or modems to resolve the issue, you help is greatly appreciated.
