  • Using iMovie- iMovie’08 introduced a new paradigm for managing your video assets and putting together a production. Come along and have a chat about the advantages and disadvantages of the new system, continued in the recent release of iMovie’09. If you’re already a seasoned pro, come along and help demo the system!.
  • Troubleshooting and Housekeeping - keeping your Mac running during the Credit Crunch!

A quick shout out to our cousins who run Mobile Monday: Colm Hayden and Norbert Sagnard, for their “Show me your App …” demo night.
The hottest topic in Mobile World Congress, Barcelona was surely Apps! So our next event on Monday 23 March 2009 will all be about applications, come to our “Show me your App…” demo night (no PPT slides!) at 5:15pm at Queen’s University, in the Peter Froggat Centre (the white building at the back of the inner courtyard).

  • iPhone development- On Thursday the 19th, xCake.org met in Roast on the Lisburn Road and again on the 24th in the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Dublin. Tonight we’ll be getting some iPhone developers to show up and talk about the development efforts they have made. On Tuesday nights, Mac-Sys hold a “Tuesday Night Cocoa” which is open to others to come and knock heads about development of software for the Mac and iPhone. Thursday the 24th, XCake are meeting in Dublin.
